My inspiration for creating great advertisements began in a Fashion Institute of Technology class taught by working creatives at their agency.
Learning from creators of award-winning work, I followed the advice to “work your ass off" and built a book that earned me a student silver pencil, a start in my career at Wieden & Kennedy NY, and being named to AdAge's top 30 under 30.
Emily Chang is a copywriter at Droga5. She's created campaigns for adidas Originals, Volkswagen, Red Wing Shoes and Sing Street on Broadway.
Before Droga, she worked at Johannes Leonardo and Fake Love, the experiential agency at The New York Times. As a photographer, her work has been featured in Office Magazine and Vogue Italia.
She lives and works in New York.
